"Melodic Soloists" by Melodic Soloists (Hard Rock/Shred)
Melodic Soloists is a brand-new compilation from the Finnish label Mad Guitar Records, and it offers 17 melodic virtuoso rock guitar songs - with six of the being previously unreleased tracks. With all the technically astounding guitar playing around these days, it’s easy to forget about the songs. Melodic Soloists is a showcase of highly skilled modern guitarists delivering emotive, melodic and groovy guitar driven rock music that’s sure to get your foot tapping. This compilation features both recent releases as well as unreleased tracks. All featured guitarists are professional recording artists, so be sure to check them out! Guitarists featured include Mr. Fastfinger, Magnus Olsson, Porty, Scott Allen, Guitarsnake, Roo and Tony Smotherman, among others. Previously unreleased tracks include "Power Lane", "Finding The Edge", "Feel The Breeze", "Atomic Blues", "Fall From Grace" and "Insideout".

| "Solo Guitar" by Will Brady (Fingerstyle)
Solo Guitar is exactly what it says it is - Will Brady's new CD filled with fourteen solo acoustic guitar tracks - lyrical and savory! For example, on "Everyday", Brady writes, "This song was the "B" side of "Peggy Sue", the 1957 hit by Buddy Holly. As a kid I bought the single 45 RPM record. Both sides were great but I’ve always liked this tune with it's lilting melody and one-of-a-kind bridge. I was tickled when I found I could play it as an instrumental." Also, for "Falling Slowly", Brady states, "From the 2007 Irish film "Once," this song won the Oscar for "Best Original Song in a Movie." I couldn't get it out of my head so I had to learn to play it.
